In the process of project execution, the design team deeply contacted customers and responded to the design upgrade needs in a timely manner, overcame the key difficulties of multiple design interfaces and tight construction schedule, and completed more than 600 pipeline designs within 3 months, including stress analysis and path adjustment of key pipelines, pipe support design and small pipe layout, fire system pipeline layout and instrument gas pipeline schematic diagram, etc., and adopted the principle of designing duplex steel and large size first, and designing stainless steel/carbon steel and small size later, to avoid path modification and balance the material procurement cycle. The team also optimized the path and support of the E&I cable tray, which effectively saved materials and was beneficial to the site construction. The construction team overcame the adverse weather of winter snow and cold, carried out continuous construction 24 hours a day after the arrival of the client’s key equipment, and completed the installation and insulation of more than 700 inches of pipelines within 10 days to ensure that the loadout operation could proceed as planned.
